No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Here is the detail.
The Wax Biz doesn't collect your personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no cookies and no analytics or tracking on this site. This page explains the few places where data is involved.
Nothing while you browse. We don't run analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and the site doesn't load anything from other companies' servers. Even the fonts are hosted on this site.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, never add you to a mailing list or share it, and delete it once it's no longer needed.
The wax melt pricing calculator saves the figures you enter in your browser's local storage, so they're still there next time you visit. They stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. To delete them, press "Reset to defaults" in the calculator or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
The batch log works the same way: every batch you record is saved only in your browser on this device, and is never sent to us. Backups and CSV exports are files saved to your own device. Use the Delete button on a batch, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove them.
The CLP label checklist remembers which items you've ticked, in the same way. The fragrance load and melts per kg calculators don't save anything.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical details such as your IP address when you visit, to keep the service secure. We can't see those logs. GitHub's handling of that data is covered by the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Some links to Amazon are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon uses cookies to record that you arrived from this site. We receive reports of what was ordered in total, never who ordered it. Amazon's use of your data is covered by the Amazon.co.uk Privacy Notice.
When you follow a link to a retailer or another website, that site's own privacy policy applies. We don't share anything with them, though your browser may tell them you came from thewaxbiz.co.uk, as it does for any link.
If you've emailed us, you can ask to see or delete what we hold. Otherwise we don't hold personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have a concern about how your data has been handled, please email us first. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
